"God wants us to come to Him through prayer. He not only invites us, but also promises to hear, bless, and answer us as we respond to His invitation." ~Cindy McAvoy, Elder of Prayer

Prayer is available after both services on Sundays as well as scheduled individual prayer sessions during the week. You may also submit prayer requests here on our website.

A Word For Our Church

Recently, a member of our church sensed the Lord leading him to share the following inspiring passages from God's Word with our church family.  Let's prayerfully consider them and take them to heart as we continue to practice the Way of Jesus!

Joel 2:12-13
"Even now" decares the Lord, "return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, and weeping and mourning. Rend your heart and not your garments, return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity."

Hosea 10:12
"Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, until He comes and showers righteousness on you."

The Mercy You Give Is The Mercy You Get!
Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

"And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue, says the Lord Almighty.  My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence, and he revered me and stood in awe of my name.  True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips.  He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin." (Malachi 2:4-6)

"He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure." (Isaiah 33:6)

Jeremiah 6:16a (NIV)
This is what the Lord says: "Stand at teh crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."

A word for our church...
Isaiah 40:28-31New International Version (NIV)

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Note: It is never too late to hope in or call on the Lord.
